Matt Damon: Good For Business

Everything in Hollywood comes down to the bottom line. And for Matt Damon, that bottom line is higher than any other actor.

According to Forbes, Damon brings in more money per movie than anyone else in his industry. Specifically, the Bourne Ultimatum star brought in $29 of gross income for each dollar he was paid in his last three movies.

For the first two Bourne films, he brought in $850 million between box office and DVD sales. And the third one, having opened last weekend, posted $70.2 million in sales, making it the best August opening film ever.

Joining Damon on the list at #2 was Brad Pitt, followed by Vince Vaughn and Johnny Depp. That’s quite a group of peers for a poor kid from Boston.
