Matt Damon Enters the “Green Zone”
Spotted out to work on Tuesday, Matt Damon dressed the part of an American soldier on the set of his new movie Green Zone, which is being filmed in Central London.
The film is “a thriller about a pair of CIA agents on the trail of certain Weapons of Mass Destruction and a foreign correspondent following their mission - inspired by Imperial Life in the Emerald City.”
And with his box office charm, Damon seems to be in as high demand as any actor around. The Sexiest Man Alive is lined up to star in three more films once he finishes up with Green Zone.
The 37-year-old Cambridge native will be acting in Clint Eastwood’s new bio/drama The Human Factor, followed by turns in The Informant and a yet-to-be titled Bourne sequel.
We just hope he can squeeze in some time for his baby-on-the-way!

This is gonna piss off a lot of people.....that movie was inspired by a book that is mostly fiction. I lived in the IZ (Green Zone) for 4 years and that Emerald City book made me want to puke. I was present for many of those incidents as the author claims he was...but he wasn’t unless he has the ability to sneak out of a cordoned area better than my own PSD’s. That book was a lie.
I love the hell out of Matt Daemon movies but this is going to piss off a lot of people. He portrays a soldier....but there were hardly any soldiers in the IZ. Contractors ruled the place. Soldiers halted for OUR movements. We did not follow their orders because our authority was higher...US State Department.
