Mary Kate and Ashley Olsen: Fashion Council Cuties
They’ve always had a penchant for style, and yesterday (October 21) Mary Kate and Ashley Olsen were spotted at the 2009 Council of Fashion Designers of America’s new members reception.
The former “Full House” hotties hobnobbed with fellow designers and industry bigwigs at the Four Season Restaurant in New York City, each expressing their individual fashion senses.
During a panel discussion, Ashley revealed that she and her twin sister got into the fashion game to be creative rather than just looking to get their name out there.
“A lot of celebrities get involved because they want to slap their name on it and it will add to their brand. And for us, it was totally different. That wasn’t my point. For me, when I look at it as a celebrity brand, it’s almost silly to me, because I’m not coming at it from a celebrity standpoint.”
