Marie Osmond Handles Fainting Like A Champ

With the new season of ABC’s “Dancing With The Stars” comes a whole new batch of surprises.  But nobody was expecting what happened last night.

Following her performance with Jonathan Roberts, Marie Osmond was recovering from the Samba.  And as she received the judges’ feedback, the singer/actress collapsed, prompting the network to cut to commercial.

Host Tom Bergeron explained that Marie was just fine when the show returned to the air.  He explained, “The first words out of her mouth when she saw us all standing over her were, ‘Oh crap.’”

Later in the broadcast, Osmond explained, “Once in a while, that happens to me when I get winded…I stop breathing.”

All in all, things ended up fine, with Marie and her partner scoring 7 out of 10 from all three judges.
