Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon: Aspen Bound

Nick Cannon is reinventing the art of being a gentleman - last night he personally showed up to pick up his wife Mariah Carey after she was done having dinner with a guy friend.

The actor/director donned a black pinstripe suit and tie and took a limousine over to Beverly Hills eatery Mr. Chow to give the “Touch My Body” singer a ride home- what a guy!

And it seems that Mr. Cannon has been scoring some serious points in the husband department as of late.  He reportedly bought Mariah a $1.5 million luxury ski chalet in Aspen, Colorado as an early Christmas present.

A source told press, “Nick is clearly still in the honeymoon phase. He’s shocked all their pals by going out of his way to buy Mariah this beautiful sanctuary. He knows Aspen is one of her favorite places in the world so this is his early Christmas present to her.”
