Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon: AMA Lovers

Fresh from a trip to the World Music Awards in Monaco earlier this month, Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon were the picture of marital bliss at the 2008 American Music Awards last night (November 23).

The newlyweds were both dressed to impress, with Mariah sporting a black cleavage-baring dress while her hunky hubby donned a black tuxedo.

And besides walking home with the AMA Honorary Award, Carey also treated the folks at the Nokia Theater to a live performance before the night was over.

Backstage, Cannon revealed that he and Mariah are definitely thinking kids. He told press, “That’s the whole purpose of marriage—is to build a family, and when we start building a family we’ll let ya’ll know.”
