Marcia Cross Welcomes Twin Baby Girls

Desperate Housewife, Marcia Cross, has given birth to twin daughters, reports her publicist.

Access Hollywood has reported that the fraternal twins, Eden and Savannah, are the first children for the actress and her husband, stockbroker Tom Mahoney. The couple has been married since June of 2006 and have been eagerly awaiting the arrival of these babies. Marcia actually was considering adoption not too long ago.

Cross was put on bed rest several weeks ago as a precautionary measure, her publicist previously told Access Hollywood.

“For two days, Cross’ own home was transformed to match Bree’s own lodgings for scenes which were screened on the show in recent weeks,” note show insiders.

The reason… producers of the popular show ‘Desperate Housewives,’ filmed a handful of scenes from Marcia and Tom’s home, wrapping up her character’s storyline. Marcia plays the ‘picture perfect’ Bree Van De Kamp on the hit show.
