Marcia Cross Goes Christmas Shopping
It’s comforting to know that just like us normal people, celebrities are scrambling around trying to get all of their Christmas shopping done. And Marcia Cross and her hubby Tom Mahoney were spotted out and about grabbing some gifts.
Banana Republic in Beverly Hills was the place to be for the Desperate Housewives actress and her man. The pair browsed for a bit before making some purchases and heading off to other nearby stores.
And Marcia has a ton to be thankful for this year. Back in February, she and Tom welcomed their twin daughters Eden and Savannah.
When asked about how she is dealing with being a mother this holiday season, she told press, “I’m deliriously happy! It’s scary to be this happy. Oh my god, I mean life is precarious, so I just value every day and every gift.”
As for her holiday plans, she reports, “We just don’t know yet. It’s all new. It’s our first Christmas together as a family, and it’s probably going to be sort of quiet. I want to go out and take a hike in the woods and have kind of an outdoorsy day. Just all kids, all day. It’s just fun.”
She described her twin girls as being very individualistic. “They’re just completely different girls, totally different. One’s very impulsive, and the other’s a little more thoughtful.”
Courtesy of the Hollywood writers’ strike, Cross has had more time to spend with her girls… and she’s loving every minute of it. “It’s fantastic,” she says. “I mean, obviously it’s terrible for the larger picture, but when I am with [my daughters] it’s just glorious, so I’m enjoying that.”
