Mandy Moore On the Mend

Life is dangerous as a celebrity.  If you’re not careful, you may find yourself starring in a horrible movie like “Saved” or recording an uninspired album of cover tunes.  And, if you’re really like Mandy Moore, you could also fracture your ankle.

The 22-year-old actress was posing for the June edition of Self magazine when the injury occurred. She is now wearing a cast on her right leg.

According to Moore’s rep, “It happened at the end of February in Mexico.  It was for one of the setups for the spread where she had to jump into the water.”

Despite her injury, Mandy is still keeping busy.  Her latest movie “Because I Said So” just opened and her new album “Wild Hope” is released in May.

Mandy, who recently split from DJ AM, was slimed on stage at the Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards on Saturday night.
