Mandy Moore Likes It On The Floor
She’s got a new critically acclaimed album, “Wild Hope,” and her latest film “Because I Said So” was a Hollywood Hit. But Mandy Moore confesses that the road so far hasn’t been easy for her.
In a recent interview, Mandy talks about the consequences of being a child star, and how it’s hindered her experiences leading up to adulthood. Moore got her first record deal at the tender age of 14, and it’s been very complicated ever since.
Mandy revealed to press, “Maybe it’s because I started in the industry when I was 15. Oh! Making love on the floor is so taboo! I went from being a child to making love on the floor. There was no intermediate step.”
Mandy says that she felt the sexiest back in her teen years. “It’s funny - I think that my sexiest time was at 15 - my gawky body, swaying like a little stick figure. My most overtly sexy thing was the first one, right off the bat. And from there it was all covered up.”
“I don’t know where that confidence came from - and I don’t know where it went,” Moore laments. But one thing’s for sure. If she keeps up this success, and continues to break out of her “child star” image, she’ll have gone where few teen sensations have gone before.
