Maggie Gyllenhaal: Weekend Wedding

It seems Italy is the hot spot for celebrity weddings this spring- last month Salma Hayek got married in Venice and this past weekend Maggie Gyllenhaal and Peter Sarsgaard tied the knot in Brindisi.

The “Mona Lisa Smile” hottie and her “Shattered Glass” beau officially said “I Do” on Saturday (May 2) in front of a small group of guests including Maggie’s brother Jake Gyllenhaal and his girlfriend Reese Witherspoon.

Rumors of Maggie and Peter’s impending nuptials first broke in the New York Post last week, though the initial reports suggested a wedding the following weekend.

The newlyweds have been together since 2002 and they announced their engagement back in April of 2006.  They have a 2-year-old daughter named Ramona.
