Madonna to Meet Mercy’s Dad
She’s heading off to Malawi to commission a new $15 million school, and Madonna has announced that she’ll also meet up with her daughter Mercy James’ biological father James Kambewa.
The “Like a Virgin” songstress feels that it is important to familiarize herself with Mercy’s background in order to provide her with a well-rounded life.
An inside source revealed, “Madonna wants to meet Mr. Kambewa because she does not want to deny Mercy her background. Madonna wants to assure Mr. Kambewa that Mercy will not be delinked from her roots.”
However, Mercy’s uncle Peter Baneti says that Kambewa is merely an opportunist who never cared about the girl until Madonna came along.
“We do not recognize Kambewa as Mercy’s father. He just came out of the woodwork to claim paternity while he was not there when my sister was pregnant.”
