Madonna: Not My Goodies!

If you were hoping to get your hands on some intimate Madonna memorabilia, think again.  Her lawyers are working overtime to stop an impending auction.

Madge’s love letters and sexy photographs from her early-90s relationship with James Allbright were recently sold to Marquee Capital.  The company specializes in the Material Girl’s odds and ends.

The word on the street is that Marquee is planning to sell the items for around $200,000.  But Madonna is doing everything she can to keep the personal items from going public, due to her fear that they could complicate her adoption proceedings.

The Like a Virgin singer plans to have the head of Malawi’s child welfare service come and stay with husband Guy Ritchie and herself later this month, and doesn’t want anything to mess that up.  The visit is to determine whether or not she will be allowed to permanently adopt Malawian child David Banda.
