Monday, July 06, 2009 Madonna Enjoys Night Off in Marylebone
Stepping out for a bite to eat, Madonna was spotted arriving at the Locanda Locatelli restaurant in Marylebone on Monday night (July 6). In the midst of her “Sticky and Sweet” tour, the Material Girl enjoyed her day off with a trip to the Kabbalah Centre ahead of the evening meal alongside gal pal Stella McCartney. As for her tour, Madonna performed a tribute to Michael Jackson at London’s O2 Arena over the holiday weekend. Prior to the show, she told press, “I am so terribly sad about Michael Jackson’s death. I don’t know what artist wasn’t inspired by him. I chose ‘Billie Jean’ (to perform at the O2) because it’s instantly recognizable.” Madge added, “Kento, my dancer, was obsessed with Michael all his life. And when Michael was having auditions for his tour, Kento really wanted to go but he’d already made a commitment to me. So now he’s about to have his moment and be Michael at my show.” Enjoy the pictures of Madonna out at Locanda Locatelli restaurant (July 6).
