Lohan Reportedly Has Liver Damage

Lindsay has been warned by doctors that she is suffering from liver damage and could face serious health consequences if she doesn’t curb her drinking.

She underwent an emergency appendectomy early this month, the latest in a long list of medical ailments which she has suffered in the past few years.

It was reported that, “the appendectomy was routine, but what doctors discovered in her blood work was not.”

“Lindsay’s liver panel shows her drinking is taking a terrible toll on her health. Her liver enzymes are extremely elevated.”

The high levels of two particular liver enzymes indicate that some of her liver cells are damaged and are leaking these enzymes into her blood.

In addition to the raised enzymes, she is also reportedly suffering from extremely low levels of protein in her liver.

From these reports, it is hoped that Lindsay is taking this all seriously. As reported earlier this month, she was out at the clubs two days after her surgery. Other clubgoers reported that she was drinking water and hopefully this was the case. We will be sure to keep you in the loop if anything further arises.
