Liz Hurley’s Best Man: Sir Elton John

After hosting one of the hotter Oscar after-parties around, Sir Elton John flew off to England and walked Elizabeth Hurley down the aisle for her church blessing with new husband Arun Natay on Saturday.

Hurley, 41, tied the knot with Indian businessman Nayar, 43, in a private and unannounced civil ceremony at Sudeley Castle in Gloucestershire, England, on Friday, the day before celebrating with their elite group of friends the following day.

The actress asked her close friend, Elton John, to escort her down the aisle, because her own father has passed away. Not only did he walk her down the aisle, the notorious musician also performed ‘Your Song’ for the amorous couple at the reception.

Speaking of the reception, the couple were joined by celebrity friends including Eva Herzigova, Elle MacPherson, Patsy Kensit, artist Tracey Emin and Jimmy Choo president Tamara Mellon, report PR Insider.

Nayar splurged on his bride, presenting her with a $16,575 diamond choker, which she will wear at a Hindu blessing in India this Thursday.

The newlyweds are scheduled to arrive in Mumbai, India today, where they will continue to mark their marriage with five days of festivities.

Talk about a celebration!!!
