Linsay Lohan Opts To Battle Lawsuit
Celebrity life is synonymous with drama and craziness, especially if you’re young and beautiful. Everyone wants a piece of the action, and some people just don’t know where to draw the line. It seems that one of those people is suing Georgia Rule star Lindsay Lohan.
Miss Lohan has been a well-known target of paparazzi ever since her step out into stardom. It’s hard to believe that the Parent Trap star would years later be turning heads and attracting the veracious appetites of photographers looking for the next money shot.
This time it’s getting ugly. Lohan is being sued by a photographer who claims that she drove her BMW into him, causing severe damage. Giovanni Arnold, 22, from the Bronx, claims he was hit by the star’s BMW as the Long Island-born actress drove it down Ninth Ave. to the Meatpacking District’s Hotel Gansevoort on March 13, he says.
According to issued statements, “He suffered injuries to both knees, and he is out of work,” says Arnold’s attorney, Mark Mauser. “(Arnold) was attempting to take a picture of Lindsay Lohan. ...The car went into reverse and then into drive and Mr. Arnold was struck. She got out the car, and then drove away. Then she came back to the scene.” Arnold is also suing Lohan’s mother, the owner of the car.
Whether it’s true or not, only time will tell. There is a thin line between trying to take a picture of somebody and jumping in front of a car to get a shot. Hopefully the judge in this case will see through any false claims.
