Lindsay Lohan Still Plans Party

When it comes to addiction, sometimes the issue of what’s right and wrong can get tricky. But when you’re in rehab for alcohol and drug abuse, and you continue planning a huge party to involve the substances you’re struggling with, something’s gotta give. Believe it or not, Lindsay Lohan is still planning a 21st birthday bash to take place on July 2nd.

According to Access Hollywood, Miss Lohan is going against the counsel of her rehab advisors and moving forward with plans for her 21st birthday blowout. In addition, friends of Lohan are noticing a turning in her attitude, and sensing that she doesn’t want to be a resident of Promises anymore.

Last week, Lindsay made headlines when she left rehab for a several outings including attending an Alcoholics Anonymous meeting and a quick workout at a nearby gym. But apparently the AA meetings aren’t hitting home for Lohan.

All of this comes as a surprise, given that Lindsay had appeared to be wising up and taking responsibility for her reckless living. The 20-year-old former Parent Trap star seems to be returning to the immature party girl mindset that got her arrested over Memorial Day weekend.

Before her little breakdown, Lindsay had decided on partying up on her 21st. “I’m going to milk it,” she said. “It’s a big birthday and I think it’s been a long time in coming for my friends in L.A. who have clubs … (soon they won’t) have to worry about getting in trouble because I’m underage.”

Even the alcohol company, Svedka Vodka, thinks it’s a bad idea for the rehab residing star to have a big bar bash. They’ve pulled any sponsorship for the event following the singer/actress’ antics as of late.

There’s still time for Lindsay to wise up and clean up for good. Let’s hope she does.
