Lindsay Lohan Reunites With Her Dad

It’s been a really tough year for the Lohan family.  Lindsay has had her fair share (and most of the rest of Hollywood’s fair share) of drinking and drug problems.  And her parents Michael and Dina have battled in divorce court.  But recently, there has been a wave of peace coming over the famous family.

LiLo is still battling her addictions at the Cirque Lodge in Utah, and Wednesday she got a visit from her father.  Michael and Lindsay haven’t seen each other in over two years, and they were both hoping that the reunion would give them mutual support.

And it did.  The meeting went really well, according to all accounts.  Dina told press, “Lindsay, myself and my son, Michael Jr., agreed that it would be good for her to have some closure with the situation with her dad. It’s part of the healing process.”

Of the successful meeting, Dina said, “I wanted it to happen for Lindsay.  She needed to do this for herself. It’s still her father, no matter how you slice it. It’s still her dad, and God willing he’ll get it.”
