Lindsay Lohan Loves Rehab, No Keira Threesome
Sometimes if you’re a celebrity, it’s important to disconnect from the world around you. For some, it’s a trip to Fiji. For others, it’s traveling to a strange land and picking up a new kid or two. For Lindsay Lohan, it involves a stay in rehab.
The Mean Girls star spent a month in Wonderland, an addiction treatment facility up in Laurel Canyon. Her adventures in Wonderland had a positive effect, she says, adding that she stayed at the West Hollywood rehab center earlier this year because she “felt safe” there.
Lohan’s therapist suggested Wonderland and, once Lohan was told that paparazzi were kept out, she drove there with a friend who had “more problems than I did,” she recalls.
She then checked out the place and found “a quiet room, all white, with parquet, and it was different! I just felt safe,” she says. “I thought, ‘I’m going to stay here tonight.’ And I stayed there. For a month. It was great.”
Regarding her stay at Wonderland, Lindsay recounts, “It’s so weird that I went to rehab. I always said I would die before I went to rehab.” And, despite attending Alcoholics Anonymous meetings for more than a year, she says, “I don’t know that I’m necessarily an addict.”
More recently, LiLo just pulled out of “The Best Time of Our Lives,” which was to start filming on Saturday (April 21st). Apparently, contract issues got in the way of things, ending the highly anticipated threesome with co-star Keira Knightley.
An insider told Life and Style magazine: “She didn’t back out and they ( the producers) didn’t pull the deal, but there were changes that weren’t to her liking, and that was that.”
Meanwhile, there’s no word on a replacement for Lindsay at this time.
