Lily Allen: GQ Award Cutie
Though the GQ Men of the Year Awards are held to honor the outstanding members of the male gender, Lily Allen wasn’t afraid to show up and show off some of her girl power.
And the “Smile” singer was definitely dressed to get attention as she made her way inside the Royal Opera House in London, England, sporting a massive strapless beige and grey swirled gown, complete with a lacy train.
In related news, it seems fellow UK songstress Sandi Thom has some admonishing words for Lily, stemming from her recent assault on a girl outside a London night club.
On her website, Thom wrote, “I can’t believe Lily Allen hit that girl in the street, what the hell is that girl all about? I can’t believe she is slagging off Katy Perry as well, I am on Katy’s side, I think she is great! Lily must be too busy starting fights and slagging people off to write some new songs! I always expected her next album to be out the same time as me as both our first albums came out at the same time. But not a peep.”
And given that Miss Allen isn’t one for just turning the other cheek, we have a feeling there will be some sort of retaliation before too long.
