Leona Lewis: Lawbreaker?

Appearing to be the latest celebrity to have a run-in with the law, Leona Lewis was spotted being handcuffed by police in Brooklyn, New York last night.

Lucky for her, it was just her latest video shoot for her new single “I Will Be,” and the “Bleeding Love” songstress looked relieved every time the director yelled ‘cut’ that she wasn’t following in some of her colleagues’ footsteps and getting hauled off to jail.

Despite the cold conditions, Leona was quite the trooper, filming scenes in a cropped black jacket, white cinched flowy top, black stretch pants, and a pair of black knee-high boots.

And it sounds like Miss Lewis is destined to hit #1 with “I Will Be,” as Katy Perry recently told press, “I Will Be is a song I have known for a while. From the outside looking in I know that everyone was fighting for Avril to put this on her record but for reasons I will not disclose, Avril, did not. I remember Dr. Luke playing this song for me months ago and I was at the point of tears knowing I heard a song that would be the hugest thing ever. I mean, people, be prepared to hear this song at every wedding for a long time.”
