Leighton Meester’s a Gotham Girl

Celebrating her growing success, Leighton Meester was out on the town for her debut Gotham Magazine cover at the Marquee Nightclub in New York City on Saturday night (September 27).

The “Gossip Girl” starlet looked cute in a glimmering silver one-piece dress with 3/4 sleeves as she mingled with guests including Haley Lieberman Binn, Jason Binn, Connor Paolo, Sally Lyons and Brianna Birtles.

In related news, Miss Meester recently spoke to press about being born in a halfway house while her mother was in between federal prison stays following a drug smuggling arrest.

Of her unconventional upbringing, Leighton tells, “It makes me very nonjudgmental and open-minded. And I think it just makes me appreciate the things that I have now.”

Insisting that things between herself and her mother are doing just fine, Meester adds, “She’s always there for me no matter what. I swear, that woman knows everything.”
