Leighton Meester is Summertime Sexy

Now that we’re well into July, the summer heat is in full force.  And Leighton Meester was spotted sweating it out in New York City over the weekend.

Saturday afternoon, the Gossip Girl gal was out and about in Manhattan, looking beautiful, albeit a bit on the toasty side, in a belted summery dress teamed with a pair of aviator sunglasses and leather strappy sandals.

On the previous day, Miss Meester saw fit to take her pooch for a walk, only to find out that the furry friend had a little business of its own to attend to.  Never fear, like a responsible dog owner, Leighton picked up the poo and carried on.

And the Lucky magazine cover girl will be hitting the airwaves in September with an all-new season of Gossip Girl on the CW!
