Leighton Meester: Hard at Work
Still pumping out episodes for the new season of Gossip Girl, Leighton Meester was spotted on location in Roslyn, New York yesterday chatting away on her mobile phone.
The Blair Waldorf actress is getting a ton of exposure lately thanks to the hit CW series. She scored the cover of Lucky magazine as TV’s best dressed new star, and also appears in the August issue of Vanity Fair.
When asked about her favorite designer, Miss Meester responded, “I’m more a normal person than, like, a fashion girl. For everyday, I like Fluxus - it’s really soft. I really like Foley & Corinna; they do a good mix of vintage and new.”
As for being victimized by real-life mean girls similar to her character Blair, Leighton revealed, “There was always one little girl in each grade that was mean to me. But I was never mean to anyone. I was never like, ‘Ew!’?”
