LeAnn Rimes: Getting Closer to Divorce

Moving things along in order to end their marriage, Dean Sheremet filed papers to divorce LeAnn Rimes on Thursday (December 17).

In the court filing, Sheremet asks for Rimes to pay spousal support plus all attorney fees and costs - also requesting to be freed from having to pay LeAnn any spousal support.

Back in March, it was announced that the 27-year-old country singer was having an affair with former Lifetime movie co-star, Eddie Cibrian, who was also married, with two children.

Of her separation from Sheremet, Rimes released a statement which read, "This decision was amicable and we remain committed and caring friends with great admiration for one another."
