Lawsuit Blues For Lindsay Lohan
While Lindsay Lohan takes some time away from life to get her act together, it seems that people are feeling free to take shots at her and it can’t be helping her de-stress.
The latest legal woe for LiLo is a lawsuit from a 2005 car crash in Beverly Hills. Raymundo Orgega is suing the actress for being under the influence of alcohol and crashing her Mercedes Benz into his van back in October 2005.
The problem for Ortega is that the police at the scene of the accident said that Lohan was not responsible for the crash. It seems like he is just after a payout now that it’s been established that the actress has a drinking problem.
Oh, and by the way, he’s also suing The Ivy restaurant for allegedly serving LiLo alcohol while she was underage, hence her claimed intoxicated state when they collided. Can you say “far-fetched”?
I’m not sure what kind of van he was driving, but the plaintiff is seeking at least $200,000 in damages. Maybe he liked Lohan’s Benz and wants to get one for himself. Sigh.
