Lauren Conrad: Undercover at LAX
With all of the constant media attention they have to endure, sometimes it’s nice to try and slip away unnoticed. And yesterday, Lauren Conrad unsuccessfully attempted to fly under the radar at LAX International Airport.
The “Hills” cutie was spotted checking in for an outgoing flight as she laughed at an incoming text message on her mobile phone.
She sported a baggy grey hoodie (with the hood up to disguise her), sunglasses, jeans with flip flops, and a bright pink oversized purse. So much for the incognito attempt.
LC is still trying to figure out a strategy to get her fashion line back on its feet. Lauren’s clothing line was recently dropped by Los Angeles boutique Kitson, due to poor sales.
And Kitson’s owner Fraser Ross says it has everything to do with Conrad’s lack of interest in promoting her product in-person. “Celebrity clothing lines are tough to sell as it is, and you have to promote your line just as you would an album or a TV show. Lauren has been on Robertson (where the boutique is located) three times since her clothing line launched but she couldn’t pop by to say hello to the sales staff that sell her line to her fans.”
