Lauren Conrad and Heidi Montag Keep Fighting
There’s nothing like a guy to come between two best friends. Just ask Lauren Conrad. Her BFF Heidi Montag ditched their friendship for her engagement to Spencer Pratt, moving out of their apartment and into Pratt’s house.
It’s all good from Spencer’s point of view, though. “Spencer has never felt so incredibly in love in all his life and Heidi feels like she is walking on clouds. Spencer wanted to show Heidi his commitment by taking their relationship to the next level,” a source close to Pratt told press.
While that’s all well and good, the friendship between Montag and Conrad has suffered a deadly blow. It appears that Heidi cares more for her man than for her former roomie. She even skipped the MTV afterparty for The Hills Finale just because Spencer wasn’t invited.
Not to be outdone, Lauren returned the favor by neglecting to show up at Pratt and Montag’s engagement party soon thereafter. “Lauren was supposed to come but didn’t show up. She doesn’t seem very happy for Heidi and Spencer. It’s like she’s jealous because she always wanted to get married young,” a source told press.
And now Heidi is trying her best to get facetime on camera with Lauren by randomly showing up at Conrad’s filming locations. “Heidi’s been showing up at shoot’s uninvited. She knows her best chance for airtime next season is to be in sequences with Lauren,” said an industry insider.
It looks like next season will be a real treat for lovers of drama. But isn’t that why we all watch The Hills anyway?
