Larry Birkhead and Dannielynn: Back to the USA

After recently obtaining Dannielynn’s passport, Larry Birkhead is set to leave the Bahamas for the U.S. today (May 1). Access Hollywood is reporting that the ex-boyfriend of Anna Nicole Smith has plans of taking his daughter back to his Louisville home - so that the two can get on with their lives.

Since The Gossip Girl’s last report, Birkhead also has finished the process of having his baby daughter’s name officially changed on her Bahamian birth certificate. He is now officially “legally and biologically” Dannielynn Hope Birkhead’s father.

Virgie Arthur, the estranged mother of Anna Nicole, had hoped to stop Birkhead from taking Dannielynn off of Bahamian soil before the next custody hearing in June. But, as with nearly every motion she’s put forward, her request was denied.

Meanwhile, it has also come to light that Birkhead is already cashing in on his new found fame, as NBC reportedly paid him $1 million for information that he’s been providing to the news agency.

A rep for Bravo told the NY Post: “NBC Universal has an exclusive contract with Larry Birkhead and we don’t discuss the terms of our deals.”

“They’ll be on board a Bravo-funded plane along with Howard K. Stern and the network is planning some kind of big interview,” an insider added.

With the NBC deal and another payout from OK! magazine, Larry should be able to financially provide for Dannielynn. Hopefully he has her best interests at heart!
