Kylie Minogue’s Good Deed

It’s a good week for children’s hospitals.  Yesterday the Gossip Girls reported that Johnny Depp plunked down $2 million for the facility that treated his daughter last year, and now Kylie Minogue has reportedly done a little humanitarian work at an Aussie hospital.

The “Locomotion” singer stopped by a center for seriously ill kids in Sydney to pay a visit and raise spirits earlier this week.  And from all accounts, her presence did a lot to brighten the day.

A spokeswoman for Minogue told press, “Kids who hadn’t smiled in ages had a smile on their face as soon as they saw her.  Kids who hadn’t smiled in ages had a smile on their face as soon as they saw her.”

Herself, no stranger to hospital stays (she battled and overcame breast cancer), Kylie said that it was the least she could do before jetting off to Los Angeles to begin promoting her new album and tour.
