Kylie Minogue Gets Q Idol
Back in 2005, Kylie Minogue was dealt a wicked hand when she was diagnosed with breast cancer. But two years later, she’s back in the game and everyone is taking notice.
The 39-year-old Aussie singer received the honor of the Q Idol Award yesterday in England. The ceremony, which took place at London’s Grosvenor House Hotel, took a moment to pay tribute to Minogue for having the courage to return to music after her plight with cancer.
And the next step for Kylie is coming quick. She is set to release a brand new album, along with a declaration that she’s back and she’s bringing her A-game.
Other honorees at the Q Awards were Sir Paul McCartney (The Q Icon Award), Amy Winehouse (Best Album), Arctic Monkeys (Best Act in the World Today), and Kate Nash (Best Breakthrough Artist).
