Kylie Minogue Asks Fans To Back Off Olivier Martinez

In a follow up story from The Gossip Girls, it appears as if Kylie Minogue wants her fans to leave her ex-boyfriend, French actor Olivier Martinez, alone.

The two separated after 4 years of marriage earlier this month, stating that they “will remain friends.”

Since the ex-couple’s statement there have been rumors of Martinez’s alleged infidelity with Penelope Cruz and Michelle Rodriguez.

“As for the treatment Olivier has received of late, I can only reiterate that he simply does not deserve the kind of harassment or vitriol to which he has been subjected,” the singer wrote in a statement on her website.

"For someone whom I have enormous love and respect, and communicate with, it is so grossly unfair: to demonize an honest man. I would ask of you, my fans, to show your support for both Olli and myself as a separation is never easy,” she continued.

Penelope also commented to Life Style Extra about the matter. The actress stated: “Olivier and I have been friends for seven years, we are very close. You can understand that it’s a difficult time for him right now, so I have been there for him to offer support. And it was lovely seeing him the other day, it has been such a long time.”

Penelope, who admitted that Olivier is a “charming man”, insists the hug and kiss they shared at Los Angeles’ Chateau Marmont hotel on February 4 was completely innocent.

Penelope explained: “He is a great guy, but no, nothing happened.”
