Kristen Stewart Gets Pointers from Joan Jett

Still plugging away on her latest role, Kristen Stewart was joined by Joan Jett on the set of “The Runaways” in Los Angeles on Wednesday (July 8).

The “Twilight” cutie was dressed up in a white t-shirt and jeans, filming her portrayal of the rocker in the new biopic flick while getting a few pointers along the way.

Meanwhile, recent reports tell that Kristen was given a pair of Joan’s old shoes as part of her costume, with an insider telling press: “Joan actually used to wear them back in the 70s. She thought wearing them would help with the movie’s authenticity.”

Talking about portraying Miss Jett, Kristen said, “I’m trying to just make myself aware of the time period and what she was going through. So many people know her as just being like one of the coolest people to ever live. That in itself is one of the most intimidating things that I’ve ever had to confront but she’s so cool too.”
