Kiefer Sutherland: Cleared of Head-Butting Charges

Back in May, he was involved in a scuffle with designer Jack McCollough at a Met Gala after-party, and earlier this week it was announced that Kiefer Sutherland will not be prosecuted for the fracas.

According to a report, charges against the “Lost Boys” stud have been dropped after the New York District Attorney rejected the case.

Yesterday (July 21), the DA’s office released a statement, saying, “We declined to prosecute after a full investigation.  And that included speaking to the complaining witness who was quite uncooperative… Therefore, the D.A. declined to prosecute.”

Sutherland had been charged with third-degree assault as a result of his alleged head-butting of the designer after he bumped into Brooke Shields at the event.
