Kiefer Sutherland Arrested On DUI Charges

While he’s able to elude the most deadly of enemies on the hit show 24, actor Kiefer Sutherland was less than cunning when it came to a brush-up with the LAPD.

According to preliminary police reports, Sutherland was arrested in West Hollywood early Tuesday for allegedly driving under the influence.

The Jack Bauer actor is said to have “been stopped at La Cienega and Beverly at 1:35 a.m. and was booked on misdemeanor DUI charges at the Los Angeles Police Department’s Hollywood station shortly after 4 a.m.” According to a police spokesman, Sutherland failed a field sobriety test before being taken into custody.

Meanwhile, Kiefer was released at 5:42 AM on $25,000 bail, with TMZ reports telling that Sutherland was “cooperative and mellow” while in police custody.
