Kid Rock Shows How Classy He Is
Man, that Late Show with David Letterman is a hotbed of controversy these days. First Letterman makes Paris Hilton cry… and now Kid Rock belittles his ex-wife Pamela Anderson on national television.
Of course, Rock wasn’t without an accomplice. Dave lobbed the gimme pitch over home plate. “Over the weekend, your ex-wife Pamela Anderson got married,” he quipped.
And Kid knocked it out of the park. He charmingly replied, “I wish somebody would have given me the advice that I’d like to give her husband. ‘Why buy the cow when you can get the milk for free?’”
It looks like Pammie’s post on her website last month is ringing truer than ever. Of Kid’s ridiculing her, she wrote, “He’s bitter. It’s sad to see. I don’t want to battle with him. I wish him the best. I’d hate to point out habits I had a hard time with. They are personal to him and that’s why we are not together. These are desperate attempts. I’ve moved on.”
The jury is still out on whether marrying a guy like Rick Salomon counts as “moving on,” or “lowering her standards, again.”
