Keri Russell Becomes A Mother

Felicity star Keri Russell has one more title to add to her resume; mother.  She and husband Shane Deary became the proud parents of a healthy baby boy.

According to Russell’s rep, the newborn is named River Russell Deary, and he was born June 9th in New York City.  The family is healthy and happy, and Keri is poised to take some time off to spend with her new son.

Unlike most women, Keri wasn’t too bent out of shape about being pregnant.  “I’m one of the lucky ones.  So far it’s been nice and easy. It’s a big, life-changing experience, and we’re excited,” she told press at the Sundance Film Festival.

Russell most recently starred in Waitress.  The film received warm reception from both critics and moviegoers when it opened May 2 and has since grossed more than $14 million in limited release.
