Kelly Ripa Checks Out “Fly Me to the Moon”
Stepping out to check out her latest big screen work, Kelly Ripa was on hand for a special screening of “Fly Me to the Moon” at The Regal Union Square in NYC on Thursday (July 31).
The 37-year-old talk show host/Daytime Emmy Award-winning actress has a voice role of Nat’s mother (Nat is played by Trevor Gagnon) in the animated film, which proclaims itself to be the “First ever animated movie created for 3D.”
Also starring real life astronaut Buzz Aldrin, “Fly Me to the Moon” is about “Three young houseflies which stow away aboard the Apollo 11 flight to the moon.” It hits theaters on August 15th.
Along with “Fly Me to the Moon”, Kelly also has a voice role in “Delgo,” which tells the tale of “an adventurous but naive teenager, who must rally his group of friends to protect their world from conflict between the Lockni and Nohrin people.”
