Keith Urban Surprises Nicole Kidman For Her 40th
You gotta hand it to Keith Urban. He is a mega-star in the American country music scene, and he’s been touring his butt off. But he still made time to fly back to his native Australia to surprise his wife Nicole Kidman on her 40th birthday.
Urban took some time off of touring to surprise Nicole on the set of her new film, Australia. The Baz Luhrman flick has been filming in the North Queensland town of Bowen for several months now, and it’s kept the couple apart at times.
But there’s always time for a birthday. Nic took some time off filming to join her girlfriends at Bondi Beach this past weekend, and then got the surprise she had been hoping for when Keith showed up on her actual birthday.
The couple will shortly celebrate their first year of marriage. And it will indeed be a celebration. With Keith’s rehab stint and the pressures of fame constantly distracting them, it’s quite an accomplishment to have made it this far.
Enjoy the pictures from Nicole’s 40th birthday dinner with friends at Bondi’s Iceberg restaurant on June 16.
