Keira Knightley Premieres “The Duchess”
With films like “Atonement” and “Pride and Prejudice” on her resume, it’s clear that Keira Knightley loves period pieces. And last night she was hamming it up at New York City’s Public Theatre for the premiere of her latest historical film “The Duchess.”
The “Pirates of the Caribbean” babe looked elegant as she made her way down the red carpet sporting a black Chanel Haute Couture dress with leaf accents teamed with a pair of black peep-toe heels.
And Keira wasn’t the only hottie in the house- she was accompanied by her hunky co-star Dominic Cooper, as well as Anna Wintour, the editor-in-chief for Vogue magazine.
Though there were a lucky few who got to see “The Duchess” last night, the rest of us will have to wait until September 19th when it opens in limited release.

Glad its just not another film about Princess Di.Or the royal jelly beans.
With Chuck now married to an American and his beloved sons catching all the American girls eye,this show just might put light back on the Queen.

She is lovely, not to mention one of the most talented, still very young actresses today.
Kudos for taking on a difficult, complex role like the Duchess and doing so well with it.
