Katie Holmes & Victoria Beckham Feud Ignites
Having not even completed her move to the States, Victoria Beckham has already managed to get herself caught up in a feud with, now seemingly ex-pal, Katie Holmes.
The fallout between the two is thought to have occurred after the former Spice Girl “delivered biting statements that demeaned scientologists and their faith.” Beckham had allegedly said that, “Scientology is nonsense,” and according to earlier reports she told her friends that she would never join the Church of Scientology.
Beckham told a friend that: “There’s no way I’d spend any money on that nonsense,” regarding the “cultish religion,” according to the New York Daily News.
In response, Katie reportedly snubbed Victoria at the Academy Awards held Sunday in LA. After the ceremony, Beckham attended Elton John’s AIDS Foundation Oscars party while Holmes passed on the opportunity and attended the Vanity Fair party with husband Tom Cruise instead.
Following Sunday’s Oscars, the Daily Mail reported that Victoria was “forced to lunch in sushi restaurant Matsuhisa alone,” as Katie clearly failed to meet her dinner arrangements.
The Daily Mail also pointed out that Holmes had made many efforts to avoid Beckham while in Los Angeles and several other locations.
In this sad scenario, it seems as if Tom is fuming over the scientology comments behind the scenes, forbidding Katie to have contact with Victoria. Unfortunately for Victoria, she’s struck a touchy subject and ironing out this problem may be a difficult chore.

Hell yes, scientology IS a bunch of cultish nonsense as far as I’m concerned; way to go Victoria for saying it. It’s about frickin time people stop worrying what everybody’s gonna think and speak up. PQ isn’t cool.

Stop bashing Scientology! Is it nonsense? Yes. But Christianity, Judaism and Islam are equally as ridiculous and NONE of these four religions have even a small amount of DNA/videotape/audiotape/ANY physical evidence to prove their tenets. Let the Scientologists have their fun.

As what I read Victoria is a demanding and want always attetion. She wanted to change her dress more than 2 times during the post oscar vanity party. Katie told her that even the nominees are contented of their one dress. As I what I perceived her she so artificial and superficial, she always wants attention.

Religions as fun? Get real - religion is a serious business. Scientology on the other hand is a business scam that prays on weak-minded very rich folk who think they’ve found some sort of “key”.
And religions are based on faith - what
do some people need - a personal weekly visitation from their ‘God’ as living proof ? Guess the Nazi’s &
Communists were o.k. then - they could kiss Adolf’s & Mao’s butts respectively.

I admire Victoria for speaking her mind without worrying what Tom Cruise may think!!! That psycho has been pushing his beliefs on people and i think they have had enough. If i were Kate i would run for the hills, this cult is contolling her mind and body!

Well, scientologists do believe that the entire human population was imprisoned inside a volcano on earth 75 millions years ago by an evil alien. And scientologists do believe that you can “cleanse” your body of evil spirits called thetans by utilizing a special hand-held device (for a price). Yep, that’s pretty much nonsense.
