Katie Holmes Preps For Suri’s 2nd Birthday

Taking care of a few errands, Katie Holmes was spotted out with her bodyguard while banking and shopping in Beverly Hills on Thursday (April 17).

The former Dawson’s Creek actress emerged from one of the stops with a handful of DVD’s - most likely last minute gifts for her and hubby Tom Cruise’s daughter Suri’s 2nd birthday, which just so happens to be today.

And rumor has it, Katie’s planning a big birthday bash for her little princess, who celebrated her first birthday at her parents Los Angeles home with pizza and cupcakes along with close friends and family.

Sources say that “TomKat plan to throw an A-list party this year. Among those family members who will attend are Cruise and ex-wife Nicole Kidman’s two adopted children, the actor’s mother and Holmes’ parents.”

“Katie is so excited – she’s taking care of every detail. You can count on special things like individual place settings and festive bunting. And when Katie plans a party, she plans a party!” tells an insider.
