Katie Holmes Out In DC, Inspires Hubby

You gotta wonder if Suri Cruise ever wonders why the heck there are tons of flashing lights every time she goes outside. Yesterday, Katie Holmes took her daughter around our nation’s capitol, and the paps were in full force.

The Cruise clan was in Washinton DC for an undisclosed visit, and it appears that the “Teaching Mrs. Tingle” actress saw the value in teaching her daughter about the history of America.

Holmes has been spending a lot of time out and about in big cities. Last weekend she ran in the New York City Marathon under an alias, and finished in just under five-and-a-half hours.

And Tom was beaming. “I know, she’s impressive. She inspires me. I said that she trained for three months, but it was really only over two months, actually. So, it’s quite an accomplishment [for] anyone to do that.”

Of waiting for his beautiful bride at the finish line, Tom said, “Have you ever been there at the final when people are running in at that marathon? It’s an incredible experience, actually, to see people coming in. You can see what it means.”
