Katie Holmes Glams Up Costume Guild Awards
We’re smack dab in the middle of award show season, and with the Oscars coming up this Sunday, there’s a lot to look forward to. Last night, the Costume Designers Guild held their 10th annual awards show and Katie Holmes was in the house, looking stunning.
Putting to rest any pregnancy rumors, the “Mad Money” actress wore a gorgeous, form-fitting graphite-colored satin gown embellished with crystals.
And her fashion-forward bob hairdo accentuated the actress’ delicate facial features. It just goes to show that a girl can look uber-sexy without showing a bunch of skin.
Holmes sent the rumor mill into overtime recently when she ordered six organic baby blankets in ‘petal pink’ and ‘ocean blue’ from Robbie Adrian’s boutique, spawning the notion that she was once again pregnant.
But a friend told press that the blankets were a gift for pal Jennifer Lopez. “Hey, can’t a girl buy some baby clothes for friends?”

I’m sorry, but that dress isn’t all that flattering and looks like something that she either fiuld in the back of her mother-in-law’s closet or on the clearance rack in thwe plus-size section of a low-end store. The elbow length batwing sleeves as well as the two obvious ties that tie in the back of the dress-either in a knot or a bow are really ugly. It’s nice that Tom has lots of Tom’s money to spend.Glad that she finally found a hair stylist, her hair used to look pretty bad.Katie, to me, will never be a fashion icon-she just doesn’t have what it takes-more than unlimited credit at ritzy stores.
