Katie Holmes’ Day at the NYC Marathon
It’s official. Katie Holmes can now claim that she completed the NYC marathon, as she finished the big race in 5 hours, 29 minutes, and 58 seconds.
The Batman Begins actress made her way to the starting line wearing an FDNY baseball cap, black pants and a purple tank top - and had quite the cheering section to help offer a little motivation.
Her movie star husband Tom Cruise and baby daughter Suri, along with her parents and mother-in-law, were all on hand to offer support.
After finally crossing the finish line, Katie told People magazine that making it through race was difficult, telling, “I’m good, but I’m feeling very tired.”
From there, the group headed back to their uptown hotel for some much needed relaxation before heading to the NY premiere of Tom’s new movie.
