Katie Holmes: Dancing Queen
She’s been focused on her upcoming performance on “So You Think You Can Dance” for awhile now, and yesterday (June 17) Katie Holmes was spotted finishing up with a rehearsal.
The “Dawson’s Creek” darling emerged from CBS Studios in Los Angeles sporting a massive smile, indicating that she’s almost ready for her rendition of Judy Garland’s “Get Happy” from Summer Stock.
Ms. Holmes showed her gratitude to choreographer Tyce Diorio by giving him a big hug as daughter Suri looked on.
An insider told press that Katie is thrilled to be doing the gig. “She has talked about doing musical theater for some time now. And even though it feels strange that she’d do “So You Think You Can Dance,” it could be good for the next phase of her career.”
