Katie Holmes: Beaded Babe

Continuing work on her latest film “The Extra Man,” Katie Holmes was spotted filming some outdoor scenes in Manhattan last night (March 4).

The “Mad Money” mommy donned some rastafari-esque beads in her hair as she shot on location outside the Russian Tea Room with costar Alex Burns.

Following a long afternoon/evening of work, Katie appeared exhausted as she made her way back to her trailer amidst a smattering of shutterbugs.

In related news, Holmes is the latest actress to try her hand at clothing design, working on a collection for kids. She told press, “My friend Jeanne Yang and I have been working together for this collection. We started about a year ago, sketching different things, trying to find comfortable clothing for our daughters. The designs are pretty as well as cute. We have just started, and we will surely design for women as well.”
