Katie Holmes: Anti-Scientology Drama on Broadway
Following a restful Labor Day weekend, Katie Holmes was once again spotted arriving at the Minetta Lane Theatre for another day of “All My Sons” rehearsals.
The “Dawson’s Creek” darling sported a baggy grey shirt along with a pair of what appeared to be her husband Tom Cruise’s jeans.
And it sounds like Katie will have more than the opening night jitters to worry about when she makes her big Broadway debut. Reportedly, an Anti-Scientology activist group is planning to protest outside the Gerald Schoenfeld Theatre when the show officially opens on October 16th.
A group spokesperson told press, “We aren’t looking to shut the play down, we don’t have the power to do that; we just want to prove a point. We want to draw attention to Scientology, and hopefully get Katie out of it before it’s too late.”

It’ll boost ticket sales. Controversy always does. Guys in Halloween masks will be good publicity for the show.

My hunch is Katie’s PR team put the story out there. Because Anonymous aren’t planning anything more than a fun, supportive presence - with a few signs and maybe a mask or two.

Steve, you’ve GOT to be kidding me. Boost ticket sales? Thats the funniest thing I’ve heard in a long time. You seriously think people are going to pay HUNDREDS of dollars to go see a show that they wouldn’t normally be interested in seeing JUST because there’s a protest OUTSIDE.
OUTSIDE. what this means is that Anonymous will draw crowds OUTSIDE the theatre....FOR FREE, and get their message across
