Monday, July 16, 2007 Katherine Heigl’s Lost Luggage
A lot of people have a problem with the preferential treatment given to celebrities. This has become a hot-button topic of late, with the California jail system under investigation for their supposed pampering of Paris Hilton. Unwilling to undertake the same criticism, American Airlines has proven that everyone’s the same in their book. Just ask Grey’s Anatomy actress Katherine Heigl - who found out that her stardom means little in the eyes of the airline giant. Heigl, who has been filming “27 Dresses” in New York City of late, jumped on a flight to Los Angeles Express airport on Saturday (July 14). And while one might expect a celebrity to be ushered off a flight with bags held in a special compartment, this just isn’t the case. Not only did Dr. Izzie have to wait in line to get off the plane… but American Airlines lost her luggage. Handling it all in good spirit, Katherine was seen walking around the terminal with a perplexed look on her face. After some time spent waiting and answering questions, Heigl was then taken out of camera’s view. We just hope that the actress was finally able to locate her bags and enjoy the short break before returning to the set. Enjoy the pictures of Katherine at LAX on Saturday (July 14).

COMMENTS I don’t think she’s the first celeb lately to learn that her station in life doesn’t protect her from lost luggage. What I don’t understand is why more people don’t use Global Bag Tags. They’re priceless in my opinion. Posted by on 08/10 at 04:56 PM
